This time, an individual, who previously took down Kaze Emanuar’s “ The Missing Link” mod for The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, has spotted a Wind Waker mod allegedly in production at the moment. That said, Nintendo has a history of taking down mods, including custom-made Joy-Con controllers that were made in honor of Desmond “Etika” Amofah – a famed content creator who sadly committed suicide last year. However, it appears that Wind Waker, despite being released over two decades ago, is still kept alive by the modding community. It made landfall on the Nintendo and the Nintendo Wii U, both of which measure up to be era-defining consoles of their time. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is another popular entry in the series that was released way back in 2003 for Europe. This is Nintendo’s iconic game franchise that has inspired a plethora of other titles and made the childhood of most of us working adults. The theme of Zelda is right up there with those that top the leaderboards.
